Apart from the master and doctorate degrees from Cairo University, he earned the AFSA in gastroenterology and hepatology at Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France. He there further subspecialized in therapeutic endoscopy , and was a fellow at the IBD center at Rangueil University hospital. He currently heads several research studies in the field of inflammatory bowel diseases. Dr. Shehab is a founding member of the Egyptian Society of Crohn’s & Colitis.

Apart from the master and doctorate degrees from Cairo University, he earned the advanced training in ultrasound techniques at Ulm University in Germany. He is the co-founder of the first specialized IBD committee in the Egyptian Health Insurance Organization (HIO). He currently participate in several research studies in the field of inflammatory bowel diseases.

Dr Mohamed Bassam graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. In addition to earning both master and doctorate degrees in Gastroenterology, Dr Bassam is also a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). He has completed several advanced endoscopic techniques training courses in different certified European centres. Dr Bassam takes pride in providing the best medical and endoscopic care possible for patients with various intestinal disorders, namely inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr Hedy A. Badary is an experienced gastroenterology consultant who believes that patient care should be a physician’s first priority. She specializes in the field of intestinal disorders, with particular expertise in both the clinical and endoscopic management of inflammatory bowel disease. Dr Badary has been recognised for her extraordinary commitment to research in the field of the gut microbiome.
